About me
I have been heard to say on more than 1 occasion this year that 2016 is a write off for me.... In a nutshell 2016 has consisted of being admitted to 3 different hospitals, visits to emergency departments (2 of which resulted in admission), 4 operations (3 involving an amputation of some sort) and a whopping 81 nights spent in hospital... I now see a light in the distance... I have been walking on a nice shining new leg... I have met some inspirational people along the way and wish them all the best in their own journeys... Also I have been reminded of the amazing Family and Friends I have the privilege of having in my life. I have been in absolute awe of all the well wishes and support I have received. It has been truly over whelming at times and I genuinely want to thank you for being there whether it be for a chat, check in or to listen to me dribble on sometimes. I would not be at the point I am in my recovery with out you. I can't thank you enough and am looking forward to a less exciting second half of the year... There are no limits in life...
